Joseph Paschal Cockerham

Mr. Joseph Paschal "Joe Pack" Cockerham, 66, of Enid, Oklahoma and formerly of Dobson, passed away Saturday July 22, 2006 at Bass Memorial Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma. He was born in Surry County on September 14, 1939 to the late John Ford and Elizabeth Poole Cockerham. Surviving are two sisters and brothers-in-law Elizabeth and Paul Branch of Mt. Airy, NC, Ann C. Moore of New Smyrna Beach Florida and Joe De Journette of Thurmond NC; a sister-in-law Margaretha C. Bullen of Dobson; a special friend Judy Linker of Enid, Oklahoma; three nieces Cathy C. Taylor, Beth C. Snow and Jo Ann Joines; four nephews Mike Cockerham, John Cockerham, Greg Moore and Mark De Journette. In addition to his parents, Mr. Cockerham was preceded in death by a brother John Bert Cockerham and a sister Margaret C. De Journette. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at Rocky Ford Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday morning from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM at Moody-Davis Funeral Home of Dobson prior to the graveside service.
