Joseph Henry Easter

Mr. Joseph Henry Easter age 78 of 468 Bluemont Road, Mount Airy, husband of the late Bessie Hall Easter, passed away at his home on Saturday, August 12, 2006. Mr. Easter was born in Carroll County on June 4, 1928 son of the late George Henry Easter and Birdie Fleming Easter, he served in the US Army and was retired from the restaurant business. Surviving are three stepdaughters and husbands, Peggy and Monroe Donathan of Mount Airy, Patricia and Lacy Bond of Dobson and Wanda and Tom Gaffney of Maywood, NJ; two stepsons and wives, Ted and Kathe Beaver of Mount Airy and Kelly and Chris Beaver of Savannah, GA; sixteen step grandchildren and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Allen Scott of Brandon, FL and Magaline and Henry Kelly of Arab, AL. In addition to his parents, Mr. Easter was preceded in death by a stepson James C. Beaver, Jr. and by six brothers Clinton, David, Ed, Curtis, Arnold and James Carner Easter.
