Joy Lee Jarvis Gibson

Mrs. Joy Lee Jarvis Gibson, 67, of Rural Hall passed away Saturday, January 10, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Manchester, KY. on November 19, 1947 to the late Cal Jarvis and Lucy Lee Curry. Mrs. Gibson was retired from Carolon Company. She is survived by sons, Enoch Darrell Gibson, and Dackary Gibson; two grandchildren; three sisters, Judy West, Brenda Hillyard, and Mary Frances Wooten; two brothers, Jim Jarvis and John Samples. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gibson was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe and Ray Jarvis. A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 15, 2015 at 4:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles West officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 3:00 PM until time for the service at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
