Joyce Ann Miller

Mrs. Joyce Ann Hawks Miller, age 85, of Mount Airy, passed away, Monday, July 28, 2020, at Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice home in Dobson.  Mrs. Miller was born in Surry County on June 3, 1935 to the late Mr. Roger Hollingsworth and Myrtle Johnson Hawks.  Joyce was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all that knew her.  Left to cherish her memories is her daughter; Donna Miller Martin; son and daughter-in-law; Jack and Jackie Miller; grandchildren; Robert Cecil McMillian, Tabitha Miller Standfield, Jed Martin, and Zachary Martin, great-grandchildren, Lucas McMillian, Austin McMillian; sister, Bonnie Fowler; brother, Dale Hawks along with many nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Miller is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Cecil Miller, Sr. daughter, Debra Miller McMillian; grandchildren, Donald Ray McMillian, Sabrina Miller, James Martin; sister, Johnnie May Rippey, and Ronald Hawks.  No formal service will be held at this time.
