Joyce Conner (Belcher) Wimbish

Mrs. Joyce Conner (Belcher) Wimbish, age 80, of Patrick Springs, VA passed away Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC surrounded by her family. She was born on June 4, 1944 in Raleigh County Besoco, West Virginia to the late Daniel R. and Goldie F. Conner. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Vera Conner Nicometi; and a grandson, Jerry Wayne Knowles. Joyce was employed by Vaughn Furniture Factory in Stuart, VA until closing in November 2004. She also worked for Hanes Brand Baby Clothes in Stuart, VA.

Mrs. Wimbish is survived by her husband of 46 years, Russell Wimbish; one daughter Darlene Knowles (Kenneth); two sons, Wayne Odell Belcher and Tony R. Wimbish; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, David E. Conner and Wendell M. Conner; and a sister, Marjorie C. Malcom.
