Juanita Ayers Marion

Mrs. Juanita Ayers Marion, 76, of Fancy Gap, VA, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, June 7, 2025, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. Mrs. Marion was born March 25, 1949, in Carroll County, the daughter of the late Magaline Ayers Rigney. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Ellen Marion; a daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Barry Jones; eight grandchildren, Tiffany Sizemore, Brandon Jones, Breona Jones, Brent Jones, Chris Marion, Nakayla Marion, Jasmine Marion, and Ashleigh Marion; her great-grandchildren, Conner Jones, Elizabeth Marion, and Chris Marion, Jr; brother, Charles Rigney. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Marion was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Charles Marion; a daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Gerry Sizemore; a granddaughter, Brittany Marion; brother, Carlos Rigney; sister, Dorothy France; her stepdad, J.B. Rigney. The funeral service will be held Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with service conducted by Pastor Brian Frazier. Burial will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time for the service at the funeral home.
