Juanita Morrison Sawyers

Mrs. Juanita Morrison Sawyers, age 84 of Pilot Mountain, passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 22, 2025, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. Mrs. Sawyers was born January 27, 1941, in Surry County to the late James Eddie Morrison and Bessie Lillie Gammons Morrison. Mrs. Sawyers is survived by her daughter, Nikki Dawn Sawyers Raboin; sons, Eddie Wayne Sawyers (April), Charles Wayne Sawyers, Jr. (Robin), and Scott Clarence Sawyers; grandchildren, Sasha Lopez, Savannah Bur, Logan Sawyers, Amelia Holt, Abigail Bobbitt, David Sawyers, Brandon Sawyers and Ethan Sawyers; great-grandchildren, Lily Lopez, Lilah Sawyers, Lydia Wayne, Parker Bur, Noah Bur, Jack Wilkins, Wyatt Sawyers, Edison Holt, Flipp Holt, Hundley Holt, Boen Bobbitt, Bellamy Bobbitt, Cheyenne Masto, Ella Sawyers, Bristol Sawyers, Blakely Sawyers, and Blair Sawyers; a sister-in-law, Cecilia Morrison; her special cousin, Susie Galyean; and several other family and friends. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sawyers was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wayne Sawyers; a son, Michael “Hollywood” Sawyers; grandson, Ryan Stanley; brother, Jimmy Gale Morrison; and an infant brother. Graveside services will be held on Friday July 25, 2025, at 2:00pm at Skyline Memory Gardens with Pastor Eddie Sawyers officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Freedom and Liberty Church, 171 Key Street, Pilot Mountain, NC 27041. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the Sawyers family.
