Judith Ann Jones Badgett

Mrs. Judith Ann Jones Badgett, 71, of Mount Airy, passed away Monday evening, November 4, 2013, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Mrs. Badgett was born January 14, 1942, in Surry County, to the late Posey Lester and Maymie Adeline Terrell Jones. She retired from Perry Manufacturing and was a member of Dover Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Gary Badgett of the home; two stepsons and their spouses, Dale and Janet Badgett of Mount Airy and Mark and Tracey Badgett of Pinnacle; five grandchildren, Amanda Moser and her husband, Lee Moser, Kelsey Badgett, Lindsey Badgett, Nathaniel Badgett, and Anna Kate Badgett; a great-granddaughter, Charlee Moser; a sister and brother-in-law, Becky and Bobby Throckmorton of Mount Airy; and two nephews, Ben Throckmorton and his wife, Karen Throckmorton, and Phil Throckmorton. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2013, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with Mr. Todd Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in the Dover Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 9:30 until 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
