Judy Handy

Mrs. Judy Ware Goard Handy, age 73 of Patrick Springs, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2021 in Martinsville, VA. She was born in Patrick County on February 13, 1948 to the late Alvis Garner Goard and Mary Evelyn Foley Goard. Judy loved cooking, cross stitching, coloring, working puzzles and was artistic in many ways. What she loved most was spending time with family and being a Nana. Surviving are her loving husband of 54 years, Guy Robert Handy; two daughters, Sherry Lynn Handy of Bassett, VA and Cheryl Renee Handy Ramsey of Stuart, VA; two grandchildren, Tara Christine Sutphin (Matthew Sam Slate) and Carey Danielle Adkins. A memorial visitation will be held Sunday, March 7, 2021 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Stuart from 3:00 to 5:00 pm.
