Judy Edwards O'Neal

Mrs. Judy Edwards O’Neal, 68, of Dobson, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015, at Forsyth Medical Center.  Mrs. O’Neal was born May 18, 1947, to the late James C. and Lois Mills Edwards. Her love of cooking and children made her an asset to the Surry County School System. She was also a member of Level Cross United Methodist Church.  Mrs. O’Neal is survived by her loving husband, Darrell Wolfe O’Neal of the home; daughters and sons-in-laws, Bethany and Jim Archer of Winston-Salem and Diana and Darryl Rogers of Katy, TeX; her grandchildren, Brandon Archer, Abby Rogers, and Gracie Rogers; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Ginger and Bobby Simmons and Jeanette Wallace, all of Ararat; her special friends, Linda, Peggy, and Mary Ann; and a beloved dog, Boomer.  The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 15, 2015, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Level Cross United Methodist Church. The funeral service will held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 16, 2015, at Level Cross United Methodist Church, with the Reverend Wesley Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Level Cross United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 4080 Siloam Road, Dobson, NC  27017.  Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson is serving the family.
