Judy Adams Shrewsbury

Mrs. Judy Adams Shrewsbury, 60, passed away Sunday evening, January 31, 2010, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. She was born in Wyoming County, WV, to the late Oscar and Macy Graham Adams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jarrett Shrewsbury; a son, Randy Shrewsbury; and four sisters, Shirley Robertson, Laura Ross, Peggy Champ, and Betty Adams. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Regina Hicks of Laurinburg and Angela and Marvin Rivas of Dobson; a son, Robbie Shrewsbury of Mount Airy; six grandchildren, Vincent Angel, Adrianna Angel, Dakota Lopez, Alexander Rivas, Jarrett Shrewsbury, and Dylan Shrewsbury; sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda Spain, Sandy and Thomas Miller, Edie Bolen, and Rebecca and Allen Murdock; and brothers and a sister-in-law, Butch and Jesse Adams and Acie Adams. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 3, 2010, at 6:30 PM in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson. The services will be conducted by the Rev. Todd E. Byrd. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 to 6:30 PM at the funeral home.
