Justin Wayne Bennett

Mr. Justin Wayne Bennett, age 32, of Mount Airy, passed away unexpectedly late Wednesday night at his home.  He was born December 18, 1989, in Surry County to the late Brenda Iris Hendricks Bennett and the late Rodney Dean Bennett.  Mr. Bennett was a gamer and loved to work with computers.  He also loved the black Mustang GT that his mother had.  Justin is survived by aunts, Sandy Hendricks and Bryon Ross, and Vickie Diane Lewis; uncles, Greg and Sandy Hendricks, Richard “Keith” and Terri Bennett, and Tracy and Missi Hodges; cousins, Nathan Marion, Samantha Hendricks and her kids Samuel and Maddie, Steven and Codie Marion and their daughter Charlee, Greg Hendrick’s, Jr., Amber and Dylan Moats, Amanda Marion and Adam King, Zachary Watson and Katlyn Wagoner, and Zane Watson and Brandie Cooke; special friends, Lynette Branch and Amy Pike; and many other family and friends.  In addition to his parents, Justin was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Harvey Gene Hendricks and Nancy Lea Bonham Hendricks; and his paternal grandparents, Alva Sheldon and Velma Opal Johnson.  A celebration of life for Justin will be held at a later date.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the Bennett family.
