Justin "J.Hop" Dale Hopkins

Mr. Justin Dale "J. Hop" Hopkins, age 25 of Stuart, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2013 as the result of an automobile accident. He was born in Martinsville on March 10, 1988, and was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Keith Hopkins; his maternal grandmother, Lelia Mae Blackard; his paternal grandmother, Reva Hopkins; and his uncle, Charles Henry Blackard. He had worked for Shaw Industries. Justin enjoyed horseback riding, motorcyle riding and truck pulls. He loved his family and friends, and enjoyed life to the fullest.
Justin is survived by his mother, Karen Blackard Hopkins of Stuart; his maternal grandfather, Charles William Blackard, and wife, Doris of Woolwine; his paternal grandfather, Clarence William Hopkins of Stuart; his aunt and uncle, Lisa and John Hooker of Claudville; and his uncle and aunt, Larry and Eva Hopkins of Stuart.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor David Heath and Speaker Aaron Blackard officiating. Burial will follow in the Stuart Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart, and at other times at the home of his aunt, Lisa Hooker on Hatcher's Chapel Road.
