Karl Bernhard Linden, 35, died Thursday, October 29, 2026, following a traffic accident.

Karl is survived by his mother, Julie Linden; his father, Derek Linden; and his sister, Lara Linden-High, her husband Adrian, and their four children. He is also survived by Julie’s husband, Bill Grazulis, and his son Jeff; Derek’s wife, Mary Ann Shaw, and her daughters Madeline and Olivia; along with other relatives and friends.

After he graduated from Landmark College, Karl returned to the Meadows of Dan community. He had an abiding faith in the Lord and was a member of the Meadows of Dan Baptist Church. Those who knew him will remember his generous heart, the strength of his faith, his love of books across a wide range of interests, and—among the online gaming community—his competitiveness and creative problem-solving.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 6, 2026, at the Meadows of Dan Baptist Church in Meadows of Dan, Virginia. The family will receive visitors at the church one hour before the service.

Flowers are welcome, or memorial donations may be made to the Life’s a Polyp Foundation, which supports those living with the genetic condition Karl faced.
