Mrs. Kathleen Violet Jones Hall Buck, age 85, of Cana, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. She was born on March 7, 1941 in Carroll County to the late Garland and Thelma Edwards Jones. Mrs. Buck was married to her beloved husband the late Mr. James Everette Hall, and the couple enjoyed over 30 years of marriage. Mrs. Buck retired from Pine State after a full career with 30 plus years of service. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Kimberly Hall Jones; sons and daughter-in-law James Hall Jr., Steve Hall, and Ted and Crystal Hall; sisters Sandra Casstevens, Rita Jones Cabaccang, Mary Lambert, and Liz Jones; brother Bill Jones, as well as six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband Mrs. Buck was preceded in death by brothers, Frank Jones, Wayne Jones, and James Jones, and sister Brenda Towe. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Mountain Valley Hospice as well as the Woltz Hospice Home. No formal funeral services will be held at this time.
