Pilukas, Kathleen Ellen, was born on May 22, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan to Edward and MaryAnn Murphy. Kathleen, who resided in Mount Airy, North Carolina, passed away on April 10, 2024 at the age of 76. Beloved wife of Richard Pilukas. Loving mother of Alan (Dani) Pilukas. Dear sister of Colleen (Dave Morrison) Murphy, Sean (Connie Binder) Murphy, Tim (Kristin) Murphy and Karen Murphy. Beloved sister-in-law of Ron (Shari) Pilukas and dear friend of Kat and Joe Cooke. Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents Edward and MaryAnn and her siblings Kristyn Murphy and Michael Murphy. Special thanks to the staff of Surry Community Health Center as well as the staff of Liberty Hospice for their compassion and care of Kathleen. Kathleen will be deeply missed by family and friends. Visitation Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 3:00p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Allen Park Chapel of Voran Funeral Home, 5900 Allen Rd. (313) 928-2300. Interment at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery. Donations may be made to Liberty Hospice, 5 East Main St. Thomasville, NC 27360, Yokefellow Ministries Food Bank, 461 N. South St., Mt. Airy, NC 27030, Mt. Valley Hospice, 1427 Edgewood Dr. Suite 101, Mt.  Airy, NC 27030 and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
