Kathryn Rae Fleming Rose Emerson

Mrs. Kathryn "Kathy" Rae Fleming Rose Emerson, 56, of Dobson, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2010, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. She was born November 26, 1953, in Forsyth County, to Bonnie Blizzard and the late Clyde Fleming. She was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in the Vietnam era, and was a waitress. Surviving are three sons and a daughter-in-law, Shawn and Shannon Rose of Dallas, TX, and David Clyde Rose and Chad Delano Rose, both of Dugspur, VA; five grandchildren, Romeo Shawn David Rose, Heaven Elizabeth Rose, Reagan Rae Rose, Cayden Delano Rose, and Serenity Aaliyha Rose; her mother, Bonnie Blizzard Monday of Mount Airy; and two sisters, Angie Denise Monday Fisher of Wilmington and Misty M. Sapp of Lowgap. A memorial service will be held Monday, August 23, 2010, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Rawley "Dink" Haynes, Jr. Burial will follow in the Jones-Fleming Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 12:30 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
