Kathy Lynn (Throckmorton) Sapp

Mrs. Kathy Lynn Throckmorton Sapp , age 68 of Mount Airy, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025, at Northern Regional Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Sapp was born on November 27, 1956, in Orange County, California to the late Thomas Ray and Mable Blackmon Throckmorton. Kathy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Surviving is her husband, Gregory Steven Sapp; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Cody Sapp and Samanth Finley, Jason Throckmorton; three grandchildren, Trevor Urijah Sapp, Winston Kole Sapp, Khloe Elizabeth Sapp; a sister, Marilyn Throckmorton; along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sapp was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Ray Throckmorton. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
