Kathy Mae Easter Weaver

Mrs. Kathy Mae Easter Weaver, 50, of 304 Spring Water Drive, Boonville, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2011, at Select Specialty Hospital in Winston-Salem. She was born July 4, 1960, in Surry County, to Virginia Mae Gwyn Easter and the late James Henry Easter. She was homemaker and a member of Lighthouse Community Church. Surviving are her husband, Daniel Weaver of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Tiffany and Michael Hiatt of Ararat, VA; a son, James Tyler Weaver of Boonville; two stepdaughters and their husbands, Misty and Gabriel Urbina and Christy and Andres Mendoza, all of Galax, VA; a grandson, Joshua James Hiatt of Ararat, VA; three stepgrandchildren; her mother, Virginia Mae Gwyn Easter of Mount Airy; and a sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Eric Lawson of Cana, VA. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 18, 2011, at Lighthouse Community Church, with the Rev. Johnny Easter officiating. Interment will follow in the Solid Rock Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
