Kathy Denise Wood

Mrs. Kathy Denise Wood, age 61, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2024 at Surry Community Health and Rehabilitation in Mt. Airy.   She was born on November 21, 1962 in Wilkes County to the late Edward and Shirley Moss Wood.  Left to cherish her memory are a son, Edward Senter; grandchildren, Logan Senter, and Lilly Wood; brother, Ricky Wood; cousin, Debbie Blizzard. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, February 26, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy.  The family will receive friends on Monday from 1:00 PM until time for the service at the funeral home.  A private family burial will be held at a later date.
