Kaye Hardy White

Kaye Frances Hardy White of Siloam, NC, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. She was born August 28, 1935, in Surry County to the late James Harbour and Martha Columbia Hardy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Robert White; brothers, Bill Hardy, Troy Hardy, Thaddaeus Hardy, Jimmy Hardy, Jack Hardy and infant sister, Betty Jean Hardy.

Kaye was known to friends and family as a simple, soft spoken, gentle lady with a strong Christian faith that never wavered. She always assumed the best in everyone she met and was a friend to all. She was a long-time member of Siloam Baptist Church where she humbly served in various roles throughout the years.

She is survived by her devoted daughter and son-in-law, Lisa White Snow (Kenneth) of Dobson, NC, grandchildren, Katie (Brian) Carroll of Raleigh, NC and Josh (Summer) Snow of Fairhope, AL, great-grandchildren, Ellis and Rose Carroll, and Tanner, Forde and Bauer Snow; sister, Judy Brintle; sisters-in-law, Shelby Jean Brooks, Audrey Hardy, Joyce Hardy, Opal Hardy; and many special nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to her cousin and home caretaker, Ellen Hardy Sams, and all other caretakers with Mountain Valley Hospice, Surry Friends of Seniors, and American Healthcare. 

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Siloam Baptist Church. Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 pm with a church service following at 2:00 pm, officiated by Reverend Jarred Seal. A private committal will follow.
