Kendra Clement Eldridge

Mrs. Kendra Clement Eldridge, 44, of Mount Airy, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at her childhood home after a short battle with cancer. She was born on February 12, 1980, in Burke County, to Rodney and Pamela Clement. She was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many. She grew up in Dobson and was a graduate of Surry Central High School and East Carolina University. Kendra had a passion for working with and helping youth. She started her career with Surry Friends of Youth then went on to become a Juvenile Court Counselor with the North Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice, where she worked for several years. After becoming a mother, she decided to leave her career to devote time to her children. In 2021, she started her own boutique, The Green Gladiolus, where she was able to pursue her love of fashion. She will be deeply missed by those who love her.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband of 15 years, Jason Eldridge; son, Colin Eldridge; daughter, Caroline Eldridge; parents, Rodney and  Pam Clement; grandmother, Jackie Snow; sister, Mackenzie (Jimmy) Gillespie; brother, Tyson Clement (Alycia Johnson); Aunt, Elizabeth “Lib” Snow; father-in-law, Oscar Eldridge; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lynn and Ryan Kelly; nieces, Olivia Whitaker, Devon Kelly, Dorian Kelly; and nephew, Grant Gillespie. She was preceded in death by her Pa, Farrell Snow; grandparents, Harry and Clara Clement; great grandparents, Lloyd “Bud” and Ruth Haymore, and Connie and Ella Snow; and uncle, Jeff Snow.
