Kenneth Carroll Dixon

Mr. Kenneth Carroll Dixon Age 74 of Pinnacle, NC. passed away Sunday January 18, 2015 at the Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem. Mr. Dixon was born February 9, 1940 in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Garvie Roe and Nellie Jane Lowe Dixon, he was owner and operator of Dixon's Lawn Care and Tree Service and was of the Baptist Faith. Surviving are his wife Yvonne Call Dixon of the home, one daughter and son-in-law Melissa and Terry Stevens of Mt. Airy, three sons and daughters-in-law Dale Dixon, Doug and Tammy Dixon and Dennis and Jessie Dixon all of Mt. Airy, step daughter Tammy and Clinton Hicks of Pilot Mountain, two step sons David and Sandie Mock and Glen Mock all of Florida, Grandchildren Jessica Dixon, Tara Jones, Adam Jones, Tennessee and Lee Pike, Morgan Dixon, Christopher and Shelly Hicks, Justin Hicks, Samantha Mock and Jeffrey Beyers, Ten great grandchildren, three sisters and brothers-in-law Faye and Ray Southern of Copeland, Wanda and Rev. Tommy Slate of Mt. Airy and Lelia May and Austin Hinshaw of Mt. Airy, three brothers and sisters-in-law Roe Click and Betty Dixon of Mt. Airy, Keith and Jackie Dixon of Dobson and Garvie Roe Dixon, Jr. and wife Jane of Pinnacle. In addition to his parents Mr. Dixon was preceded in death by a step great grandchild. Funeral services will be held Wednesday January 21, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Genesis Full Gospel Church with services conducted by Rev. Tommy Slate with burial to follow in the church cemetery. They family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:00 PM until time for the service at Genesis Full Gospel Church. The family would like to express their thanks to the Mt. Airy Dialysis Center for their love and care given to Kenneth during time there.
