Mr. Kenneth Ray Quesinberry, 73, of Mount Airy, passed away Monday morning, February 19, 2018, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. He was born January 11, 1945, in Surry County, to Prince James and Ollie Mae Venable Quesinberry. Left to cherish his memory are a sister, Becky Robtison; a brother and sister-in-law, James and Claudine Quesinberry; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Quesinberry was preceded in death by three brothers, Russell Lee Quesinberry, Lonnie Venable Quesinberry, and Ralph William “Joe” Quesinberry; a nephew, Chris Quesinberry; and a great-niece, Caurin Lonae “Cori” Hall. The funeral service will be held Friday, February 23, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Bill Watson officiating. Burial will follow in the Blackwater United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 12:30 until 2:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, NC 27017.
