Kenneth Samuel Vass

The Rev. Kenneth Samuel Vass, 64, of 10 Vass Lane, Cana, VA, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2007, at his home. Mr. Vass was born August 3, 1943, in Carroll County, VA, to the late Sampson Adam and Stella Mae Crane Vass. He pastored several churches throughout the area and brought many people to the Lord. Mr. Vass is survived by his wife of 42 years, Brenda Faye Flinchum Vass, whom he loved and cherished and who was the love of his life; a daughter and son-in-law, Tammy Lynn and David Wayne Turner of Cana, VA; a son and daughter-in-law, the Rev. Tommy Lee and Amie E. Denise Vass of Mount Airy; and five grandchildren. The family will be having a private funeral service. The family will receive friends at the home of the Rev. Tommy Lee Vass, 814 White Pines Country Club Road, Mount Airy.
