Kevin Daryl Coleman

Mr. Kevin Daryl Coleman, 47, of Stuart, VA passed away Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem. He was born in Surry County on February 25, 1966 to Phyllis Vernell Hill Coleman and the late Curtis Coleman. Mr. Coleman worked in construction before becoming disabled and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his mother, Phyllis Vernell Hill Coleman of Mt. Airy; two sisters, Karen Midkiff, and Kasonya Coleman both of Mt. Airy; a brother, William Darrin Coleman of Mt. Airy. In addition to his father, Mr. Coleman was preceded in death by a brother, Duane Coleman. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Hills Grove Baptist Church in Claudville, VA with the Rev. Randy Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
