Kristie Mechelle Krantz

Miss Kristie Mechelle Krantz, 50, of Mount Airy, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Miss Krantz was born July 12, 1975, in Roanoke, VA, the daughter of the late Larry Krantz and Linda Burnette Davis. She is survived by a daughter, Sunnie Riley; a sister, Alisha Davis; two nieces, Lydia Arnder and Sparrow Krantz; and two nephews, Malachi Arnder and Samuel Krantz. Kristie was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed. In addition to her parents, Miss Krantz was preceded in death by a brother, Jody Krantz. A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Michael Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
