Lannie Rosell (Cain) Lowe

Mrs. Lannie Rosell Cain Lowe, age 95, of Lowgap, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2022, at Surry Community Health Center in Mount Airy.  She was born on July 3, 1927, in Surry County to the late Floyd and Pearlie Sutphin Cain.  Mrs. Lowe was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.  She will be deeply missed by all that knew her; and she will be forever in our hearts.  Left to cherish her memories are her two sons, Michael Lowe, Marlin Lowe; a daughter and son-in-law, Kirby Sue Dilts and Rodney; two grandsons, Brant France and Billie Jean, Brandon France and Michelle; a step grandson, Jody Garaventa and Jamie; five great-grandchildren, Bradon France, Branson France, Kayleigh France, Isabella France, Gavin France; along with several nieces and nephews  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lowe was preceded in death by her husband, Amos Norvale Lowe; an infant granddaughter, Kandace Sue France; five sisters, Estell Cain Barker, Runell Cain Hicks, Geraldine “Dink” Cain Richardson, Peggy Cain Marion, Hilda Cain Dean; seven brothers, Alvie Cain, Leonard Cain, Elwood Cain, Delmer Cain, Larn Cain, Pete Cain, Gary Cain; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 5, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Chapel in Mount Airy with Rev. Russell Parsons officiating.  Interment will follow in the Round Peak Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Monday, December 5, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.  The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Surry Community Health Center and Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care for the care given to Mrs. Lowe during her time of illness.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, 1427 Edgewood Drive, Suite 101, Mount Airy, North Carolina 27030.  Moody Funeral services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
