Larry William Finney

Mr. Larry William Finney, age 75, of Mt. Airy, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2023, at Grand Strand Hospital in Myrtle Beach, SC.  He was born in Davidson County on November 8, 1947, to the late William and Margie Shore Finney.  Mr. Finney was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will surely be missed by all who knew him.  He is survived by his daughters, Stephanie Cranford (Rick), Kelly Mills (Marc), son, Jamey Finney (Nikki), grandchildren, Chase Finney (Sarah), William Richard Cranford Jr, Corey Cranford (Callie), Amber Johnson (Andrew), Zackary Mills; great-grandchildren, Cortland Cranford, Jacob Killebrew, Garrett Johnson, Avery Finney, Coltan Cranford; sister, Robin Woods (Danny); brothers, Philip “Pooh” Finney, Tommy Finney.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Finney was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Baker, and his sister, Mary.  A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 2:00 PM at New Beginnings Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Kevin Dezern officiating.  The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1:30 PM until the time for the service at the graveside.
