Larry Mitchell Watson, Jr.

Mr. Larry Mitchell Watson, Jr., 80 of Pinnacle, passed away peacefully at his home with his loving and supportive family by his side on Saturday August 2, 2025. He was born December 19, 1944, in Forsyth County. Mitch was adopted by his grandparents, Wilbur and Ila Mae Watson, when he was very young and was raised in a beautiful loving home. Mr. Watson was in the engineering field all of his adult life, but he was really a jack of all trades. He loved tinkering with old cars, building houses, and was just a very gifted man. He was a very kindhearted, loving, and as his wife said, a very “beautiful” man. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 60 years, Carolyn Bowman Watson; son, Daryl Watson; daughter and son-in-law, Michele and Rodney McDaniel; grandchild, Jacob McDaniel; sister, Margaret Watson; brother, Harry Lee Watson; his special dog, Sammy; and by several other family and friends. Staying with Mr. Watson’s wishes, there will be no formal services. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the Watson family.
