Leroy Franklin Johnson

Mr. Leroy Franklin Johnson age 82 Mt. Airy, NC husband of Mrs. Juanita Williams Johnson passed away Friday, May 31, 2024, at his home. He was born December 7, 1941, in Surry County to the late Orby and Marie Hiatt Johnson. He was a retired mechanic with Gilley’s Automotive and attended Mt. Airy Wesleyan Church, Surviving are his wife, Juanita W. Johnson, two daughters and a son in-law, Paige Johnson and Curtis Hawks and Candace Norman, two grand dogs, Lipton and Charlie. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday, June 7, 2024, at Mt. Airy Wesleyan Church. The service will be conducted by Rev. Eric Smith and Rev. Richard Lowman. Burial will follow in the Indian Grove Family Cemetery. There will be no formal visitation.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
