Mr. Lester James “Jimmy” Webb, age 75 of Fancy Gap, Virginia entered eternal rest on April 14, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Webb was born in Galax, Virginia to the late Lester Cleve and Olive Pitt Webb. Jimmy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He helped with milking cows, as well as working on the farm daily and helping his father work on trucks. Jimmy met Judy and the rest was history; they got married on July 11, 1969, and had two loving boys, Jamie and Jason. Mr. Webb loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren whether it was eating supper or riding the Kubota with the dogs. His favorite pass time in the summer was putting up hay with Jason, Jamie, and Joey and then eating a good cheeseburger after finishing up the day. His family meant more than the world to him, and he would do anything for any of them. Surviving are his sons and daughter-in-law, James Alan “Jamie” Webb, Jason Webb and Kristin; grandchildren, Joey Edwards and Melanie and June Webb; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda Webb Quesinberry and Grant, Elaine Lambeth and Nathaniel; a nieces, Melissa Thomas, Stacey Bowman, Julie Hughes, Samantha Cannday; nephews, Jonathan Edwards and Jennifer, Nathaniel Lambeth, Jay Elloitt, Josh Campbell; great niece, Riley Bolen; great nephews, Luke Edwards, Mitch Cannday, Dalton Cannday, Charlie Bolen; mother-in-law, Wilma Strickland Bowman; brothers and sister-in-law, Eddie Bowman and Anita, Gary Bowman; many special friends and family; and his special dogs, Bo, and Luke. In addition to his parents, Mr. Webb was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Judy Bowman Webb; a sister, Lois Webb Reynolds; a niece Susan Bowman; and his father-in-law, Burlie Bowman; and his special dog, Rusty. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Rocky Ford Christian Church with Reverend Wendell Horton officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Rocky Ford Christian Church from 12:00 PM until the time of the service. Flowers will be accepted, or memorial donations may be made in Jimmy and Judy Webb’s Memory to Rock Ford Christian Church, c/o Danny and Darlene Vernon, 169 Brushy Fork Road, Cana, Virginia 24317.
