Lillian Carlene Martin Creed

Mrs. Lillian Carlene Martin Creed, age 85, of Lowgap, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023, at Northern Regional Hospital in Mount Airy.  Mrs. Creed was born on May 15, 1937, in Surry County to the late Yank and Nettie Lowery Martin.  Carlene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.  She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.  Surviving are her granddaughters, Jessica Davis and fiancé Joey Jenkins, Kimberly Davis, and Brittany Creed; and two great-granddaughters, Kaylee Reene Davis and Brooklyn Terral.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Creed was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Creed; daughter, Rebecca “Becky” Creed Davis; son, Dennis Grey Creed; and her brother, William Wade Martin.  A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday April 29, 2023, at 2:00PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends on one hour prior to the service at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
