Lily Mozelle Felts

Mrs. Lily Mozelle Melton Felts, age 81, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020 at Surry Health and Rehabilitation Center.  She was born in Carroll County Virginia on November 11, 1939 to the late Lawrence and Nina Combs Melton. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will surely be missed by all who knew her.  Left to cherish her memories are a daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Harold Strickland; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Diane Felts; grandchildren, Nicholas Felts, Eden Felts, Keicha Rea and husband Jeffrey, Travis Felts, Jared Strickland and wife Sydney; six great-grandchildren; sister, Lannie Bond and a brother, Virgil Melton.  In addition to her parents Mrs. Felts was preceded in death by her husband Sidney Felts; son, Larry Ray Felts; sisters, Connie Burcham, Beulah Felts, Carolyn Melton; brothers, Bobby, Sterling, Melvin and Ralph Melton.  A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Blue Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.
