Linda Carol Bartley

Mrs. Linda Carol Neal Bartley, 72, of Lowgap, passed away early Thursday morning, January 23, 2020, at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital in Elkin.  Mrs. Bartley was born January 13, 1948, in Tennessee, the daughter of the late William and Lillian Posten Neal.  Linda retired as a customer service representative from USAirways after 27 years of service.  She is survived by her husband, Kelly Dale Bartley; a son, William Edward Jurney; three stepsons, Jason Bartley, Dale Bartley and his wife, Sara, and Richard Bartley and his wife, JoAnn; her grandchildren, Joshua and Paige Jurney and William and Kaley Jurney; six stepgrandchildren; three great-grandchildren, who were her pride and joy, Skylee Jurney, Rowen Jurney, and Ramie Jurney; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Marie and Bob Wagner and Ann and Roger Scott; several nieces and nephews; and her best friend, Patricia Carroll.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bartley was preceded in death by a sister, Peg Morton; and a brother, Billy Neal.  A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, February 1, 2020, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.  No formal memorial service will be held.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, NC  27017.
