Linda Faye Collins Edwards

Mrs. Linda Faye Collins Edwards, age 79, of Ararat, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at the home of her daughter surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on March 1, 1945 in Patrick County to the late Joseph Collins Sr., and Minmtora Craddock Collins.  She was a loving mother, grandmother who will surely be missed by all who knew her.  Left to cherish her memory are her daughter and son-in-law, Bucky Shannon and Josh Haga; son, William David Edwards; grandchildren, Sean Edwards, Zak Haga, Madison Haga, Jesse Edwards III; sisters and brother-in-law, Susie Edwards, Neomia Hall, Peggy Walker, Myrtle Love (Davis); brother and sister-in-law, Joseph Collins Jr (Brenda). In addition to her parents Mrs. Edwards was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse William “Buck” Edwards; son, Jesse William “Bucky” Edwards Jr. sisters, Thelma Bruner, Hester Eaton, Mable Lineback, Hazel Stevens, Gladys Matthews, Clara Hall; brothers, Vester Collins, Robert Collins, and James Collins.   A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Pilot Mountain City Cemetery with service conducted by Bro.
