Linda Frances Sprinkle Spann

Mrs. Linda Frances Sprinkle Spann, age 77, of Elkin, passed away Friday, December 6, 2024. She was born August 20, 1947, in Surry Country, to the late Raymond Sprinkle and the late Sadie Benge Sprinkle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Ronnie Spann; her son, James Patrick Spann; and a nephew, Jason McCraw.

Left to cherish her memories are her son and daughter-in-law, Brock and Carrie Spann; grandchildren, Kaylee Spann and Hunter Spann; her sister, Doodle McCraw; brother and sister-in-law, Myron and Dorcas Sprinkle; nieces, Stella Stanley and Vicky Presley; and special friends, Brenda and Norma. Mrs. Spann was a loving, wife, mother and grandmother, a member of Salem Fork Baptist Church, and babysat for 23 years for countless numbers of children. Visitation will be Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 1-2:00 PM at Salem Fork Baptist Church. A graveside memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM in the church cemetery with Pastor Sean Joplin and Pastor Jeremy Simpson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salem Fork Baptist Church Cemetery Fund. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Spann family.
