Linda Gayle Howard

Mrs. Linda Gayle Dockery Howard, age 79, of Elkin, NC passed away on Tuesday March 22, 2022, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC.  She was born in Surry County on August 31, 1942, to the late David Dockery and the late Beulah White Dockery.  She was retired from Dunmore Plantation as a PCA.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Edwin Howard; granddaughter, Katy Sumner; brothers Clinton Dockery, Carroll Dockery.  Surviving is her daughter, Angela Hunter; son Chad Howard; daughter-in-law, Kelly Wyatt Hall and Samuel Hall; grandchildren, Ellen and Christian Alvarez, Karlie Wyatt, Jonathan Hunter, Cayden Howard; sister, Lois Cockerham; special sister-in-law, Silla Dockery; special nephew, Rodney Dockery. The family will receive friends at Linda’s home on Saturday, March 26, 2022, from 12:00 Noon until 4:00 PM.   Moody-Davis Funeral Home is serving the Howard family, there will be no services held at the funeral Home.
