Linda Milholen Love

Mrs. Linda Milholen Love, age 80, of King, passed away Friday night, August 22, 2025, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born in Davie County, on February 26, 1945, to the late Charles Edgar Milholen and Margie Matoka Page Milholen. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sibling. She’ll be deeply missed by the many that were blessed to have known her. Mrs. Love worked for many years as an inspector for Cook Medical. She was active in Westfield Ruritan Club. She was a very faithful servant of the Lord and was a faithful member of Woodville Baptist Church for many years. In her spare time, she loved to cook, spend time with family and friends, and enjoyed the company of her Weenie dog, Roxy. Mrs. Love is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Matoka Love Maxey and David; grandchild, Mallory Maxey; brother and sister-in-law, Eddie Milholen and Donna; sister-in-law, Veneeda Anderson. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Love was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ray Alton Love. A celebration of Mrs. Love’s life will be held Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy with the Rev. Kevin Kilby officiating. Burial will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, from 10:00 AM until time of the service at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy. Flowers will be accepted, or memorial donations may be made to Woodville Baptist Church, c/o Terry Inman, 4818 Westfield Road, Mount Airy, NC 27030.
