Linda Marie Harrell White

Mrs. Linda Marie Harrell White, age 79, of Bassett VA, passed away November 4, 2026, at The Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, Surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 12, 1947, in Surry County, to the late Walter Madison Harrell and the late Beatrice Ella Fain Harrell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Celeste Bowman; her sisters, Barbara Pike and Faye Bryant; and her brother, Donald Harrell.

Mrs. White was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family and will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of 31 years, Garry White; son and daughter-in-law, Andy and Tammy Bowman; stepdaughter, Stephanie Grey White; grandchildren Kasey Lindsay (Jackson). And Corey Bowman; step grandchildren, Kaylee McCann and Levi McCann; several nieces and nephews; and her fur baby, Sparky. A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 10, 2026, in the Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Brian Chilton officiating. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is respectfully serving the White family.
