Mr. Lino Valenzuela “Tiger” Alvarez, age 63, of Mount Airy, passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, November 4, 2026, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. Mr. Alvarez was born September 3, 1963, in Sonora, Mexico. He worked for 9 years at Pine Log Lumber in Elkin, North Carolina. Mr. Alvarez is survived by his partner of 30 years, Thelma Carter. There will not be any formal services held at this time. Moodys of Mount Airy is respectfully serving the Alvarez family.
