Lisa Ann Brinegar

Mrs. Lisa Ann Nelson Brinegar, 46, of Mt. Airy passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.  She was born in Alleghany County on March 2, 1972 to Linda Hodge Burnette and the late Thomas “Tommy” Nelson.  Mrs. Brinegar was a loving homemaker, and a member of Southside Baptist Church.  In addition to her mother, Mrs. Brinegar is survived by her husband, Robert Brinegar of the home; daughters, Destiny Brinegar, and Joshalynn Brinegar; sons, Stephen Brinegar, and Randle Minor; sisters and brothers-in-law, Crystal and Scotty Turner, Melissa and Stevie Moxley; brothers and sisters-in-law, Tom and Amy Nelson, Daniel and Becky Nelson; many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her father Mrs. Brinegar was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Cynthia Bryant.  There will be a private funeral service held with the Rev. Chester Walls and the Rev. Tim Hall officiating.  Burial will follow in the Nelson Family Cemetery.  There will not be a formal visitation.  Moody Funeral Home in Mt.
