Lisa Dawn Holbrook

Ms. Lisa Dawn Holbrook, age 58, of Elkin, passed away Friday, June 29, 2022, after a long illness. She is now with her Lord and Savior. Lisa was born July 20, 1964, in Wilkes County, to the late Bonner and Lena Holbrook. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Wayne Holbrook; and nephew Brandon Holbrook. Lisa loved her boys, Wesley and Brent Manning and her grandchildren Aidiana, Josh and Jayden.              Left to cherish her memories are her sons and daughters-in-law, Brent and Nicole Manning, Wesley and Christy Manning; grandchildren, Adiana, Josh and Jayden; brothers and sisters-in-law, Andy and Kelly Holbrook, Sandy and Mabel Holbrook, Scottie and Retha Holbrook; Niece, Holly Holbrook; nephews, T.J. Holbrook , Cody (Caitlin) Holbrook, Scottie Harris, and Landon (Hannah) Holbrook; great nephews, Isaac Holbrook, Joshua Holbrook and Tristyn Harris; great nieces, Paisleigh Harris and Adalee Holbrook; and special friends, Francis Lankford and Allison Layell. Lisa went to North Wilkes High School and worked at Vaughn Bassett in Elkin until her illness. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday in the Gid Branch Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. James Hall officiating. Moody-/Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Holbrook family.
