Lisa Michele Knott

Ms. Lisa Michele Knott, 51, of Mount Airy, passed away Thursday afternoon, November 21, 2024, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Ms. Knott was born December 11, 1972, in Surry County, the daughter of the late Tony Gray and Betty Lou Cromer Knott. Michele grew up in the Sheltontown community and graduated from East Surry High School in 1992. Michele will be remembered for her love of animals and her unwavering dedication to improving their lives in every way possible. She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Gray and Angie Knott; a niece and her husband, Leslie and Logan Simpson; a nephew and his wife, Andrew and Madison Knott; and two great-nieces, Naomi Simpson and River Knott. A memorial service will be held Sunday, December 1, 2024 at 5 PM at Indian Grove Baptist Church. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
