Lisa Ann Golding Merla-Cruz

Ms. Lisa Ann Golding Merla-Cruz, age 48 of Mt. Airy, passed away Monday, December 30, 2013 at her home. Ms. Merla-Cruz was born in Surry County on December 16, 1965 to the late William Roby and Mary Galyean Golding. Surviving are a son, Jose Samuel "Sammy" Merla-Cruz; a sister and brother-in-law, Jenny and Guadalupe "Lupe" Adame; a nephew, Juan William Adame; a niece, Linda Adame; four great nieces, Angel Rose Adame, Kaylin Faith Adame, Alyssia Nevaeh Adame, and Maryssa Rayne Adame. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 2, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Hollow Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
