Lloyd Clay Hughes

Mr. Lloyd Clay Hughes, 73, of Ararat, VA passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at Northern Regional Hospital in Mt. Airy. He was born in Cabell County, WV on January 29, 1948, to the late Dewey and Maudie Bartee Hughes. Mr. Hughes was a trucker driver for Smith Brothers Trucking. He is survived by his wife, Tracey Lynn Bowman Hughes; daughters and son-in-law, Amber Anders, Angela and Arnaldo Toro; grandchildren, Katie Mae Anders, Johnny Wayne Anders, and Jenny Rosie Anders; a brother, Dennis Hughes. In addition to his parents Mr. Hughes was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Timothy Hughes; a brother, Paul Hughes. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Moody Funeral Home in Mt.
