Lois Thomas

Mrs. Lois Bryant Thomas, 84, of Cana, VA passed away passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at Surry Community Health and Rehabilitation in Mt. Airy.  She was born in Carroll County on September 27, 1936 to the late Arnold and Lelia Arlene Berrier Bryant.  Mrs. Thomas retired from Cross Creek Apparel, and was of the Baptist faith.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed by all her family and many friends.  She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Carl and Janet Thomas, Dwayne and Sheryl Thomas; grandchildren, Chris and Tracy Thomas, and Jimi and Leann Thomas; five great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her husband, Monroe Frank Thomas.  A funeral service will be held Friday, October 23, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with services conducted by the Rev. Jerry Pardue.  Burial will follow in Flower Gap Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt.
