Lona Nelda Reynolds

Mrs. Lona Nelda Forrest Reynolds, 87, of Winston-Salem, passed away Monday, August 20, 2018, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem.  Mrs. Reynolds was born February 12, 1931, in Patrick County, VA, to the late John and Lucy Lee Culler Forrest.  She worked and retired from Sara Lee Inc. and was a member of Oak Summit Community Church.  Left to cherish her sweet memory are her husband, Herbert Reynolds; a sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Dillard Goad; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Clay and Anne Forrest and William and Margie Forrest; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, the Harmon family.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Reynolds was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Hick; and three brothers, Aldy Forrest, Lee Forrest, and Johnny Forrest.  The funeral service will be held Thursday, August 23, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Dave Bohrer officiating.  Burial will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.  Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC  27103.
