Lorene Johnson Moore

Ms. Lorene Johnson Moore, 67, of Dobson, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at her residence. She was born March 22, 1954, in Surry County, to the late Fred William and Sylvia Marion Johnson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, David Johnson; and special friends, Al and Verlene Moore. Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Carrie Moore; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Scott Moore and Chad and Laura Moore; three grandchildren, Callie Moore, Avery Wilmoth, and Ayden Wilmoth; a sister, Edna Hawks; a brother, Jay Johnson; special friends, Bill and Teresa Haymore and Sharon Elmore; and her loving, furry companion, Tiger. In addition to her family, her greatest joys were her grandchildren and baking. A private family ceremony will be held at a later date.
