Louis Donald "Lou" Palumbo

Mr. Louis Donald “Lou” Palumbo age 87, of Mount Airy passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem.  He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on July 26, 1935, to the late Louis Palumbo and Anna Santagata Palumbo.  Mr. Palumbo was owner operator of Palumbo Foods in Pennsylvania and a member of Mount Airy Wesleyan Church.  He is survived by a daughter, Annette Munley; a son, Louis Joseph “Jay” Palumbo; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; one sister, Rita; along with several nephews.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Palumbo was preceded in death by four sister, Mildred, Grace Jane and Phyllis; and two brothers, Louis Palumbo and Joseph Palumbo.  A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at 4:00 PM at Mount Airy Wesleyan Church with the Rev. Richard Loman and Rev. Eric Smith officiating.
